This course combines Business English communication skills and concepts with general English language skills. This course is designed to give non-native English speakers the English skills they need to start a business in today’s global marketplace. English skills, vocabulary and appropriate grammar are developed through exercises, presentations, case studies, role plays and research on entrepreneurship topics including: understanding entrepreneurship concepts, identifying a business opportunity, evaluating ideas and assessing the marketing, raising capital, making key financial decisions and refining business strategies. Visits to businesses and guest speakers on specialized topics may be arranged during the course.
